Tammi Lloyd

The oldest of three, Tammi Lloyd was raised with her two younger brothers in Santa Barbara, California. Growing up Tammi loved reading, music and the arts (and continues to love all three today). Her love of music led her to sing in choirs all through elementary, junior high, high school and college. Tammi graduated from Fisk University (located in Nashville, TN) where she majored in Business. After graduation from Fisk, she went on to further her education at Vanderbilt University (also in Nashville, TN) where she earned a MBA with dual concentrations in Human Resources and Services Marketing.

Following graduation from Vanderbilt, she began her career in Memphis, TN taking a role with the Promus hotel company. Since then, Tammi’s career has taken her to some of the largest fortune 100 companies in the United States. Currently at Lockheed Martin, Tammi is the Director, Enterprise Talent Management and Professional Development. She is responsible for the development, implementation and sustainment of the corporate Talent Management, Learning and Leadership Development strategies.

Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Tammi worked at Capital One Financial Corporation where
she was the Senior Director of Human Resources Consulting, supporting Information Technology. In this role Tammi developed and delivered Human Resources strategies in alignment with business needs in the areas of Change Management,Organizational Design/Leadership and Talent Development. Also during her tenure with Capital One, Tammi supported the Mid-Atlantic Region for the Retail Banking division, which included 250 branches and approximately 2,000 front-line associates across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. and Branch Operations which included 1,000 operations associates.

Prior to Capital One, Tammi was with Bank of America where she held Human Resource generalist and Staffing roles. Tammi has multi-industry experience having also held progressively advancing Human Resources positions at Frito-Lay (consumer packaged goods), Harrah’s Entertainment (hospitality/entertainment) and AT&T (network services).
